Vintage Kay 5 String Banjo 1970's ? (As Is For Repair) Made In Korea (Being Sold As Is For Repair) Fair Condition. Scratches, scuffs, dings, oxidation and wear (See Pics)Neck will need to be steamed, reset and adjusted to be playable. With strings the action was very high. Unplayable as is. Frets show much wear and will need to be repaired or replaced. Neck is very dry and will need hydration. Tuning machines will need to be oiled and further tested as they are not moving well or holding string tension as should. There is oxidation on most of the tension rods and other hardware. Tension rods look bent and out of shape and will need repair or replace. There are no cracks or breaks in the body or headstock that were noticed. Needs new bridge. Will need numerous repairs to be made playable.
