Facilities EHS Manager

Our Business Unit Lighting and Imaging offers challenging lighting and image transmission solutions for applications in the markets of automotive, aviation, medical devices, as well as industrial and safety engineering. With production units in Europe, North-America and the worldwide SCHOTT sales organization Lighting and Imaging is a leading supplier for fiber optic components. Your tasks The Facilities EHS Manager will manage the maintenance and repair of all production equipment, buildings, building equipment (HVAC, electric,gas,  water, etc) and grounds to ensure optimum performance, minimize down time, support safety, reduce costs, etc. The chosen candidate will be responsible for utilities (electric, gas, water, etc), for site security (guard service, ID badges, parking permits), manage EHS and is responsible for waste water treatment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Plans, organizes, directs and controls all maintenance activities and programs. Manages the activities of all Maintenance personnel. Orders all required materials and supplies to assure timely completion of jobs. Maintains materials and supplies inventory. Performs all personnel supervision duties, which includes resolution of personnel problems and reporting to management on performance. Provides for safe and orderly work environment in Maintenance, ToolRoom, and Wastewater Treatment. Ensures that safe work practices are followed and meets facility safety objectives. Develops and maintains preventative maintenance programs for machinery, equipment and facilities. Coordinates new equipment installation with engineering. Administers third party vending including security guard service and cleaning service. Coordinates new equipment installation with engineering. Your profile B.S. degree in Engineering or similar discipline is preferred. Ten years spervisory experience in manufacturing environment. Must have working knowledge of HVAC systems,Plumbing, electrical,  gas, manufacturing equipment, building codes, and mechanics, hazardous materials, waste water treatment, environmental compliance. Must be able to quickly respond to emergency situations and provide solutions to the problems. Effective management skills -- plan, direct, organize and control. Effective interpersonal skills resulting in the ability to create effective working relationships with a diverse group of personalities. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Ability to motivate and develop subordinates. Good judgment and good decision making ability.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
