Mechanical Design Engineer

Your tasks The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the development and design of new products, procedures and methods for customer applications, transfers to manufacturing and will provide on-going manufacturing support. Duties include, but are not limited to: Interface with customers to determine and verify product specifications and vendors to determine and verify component specifications. Assists engineers with existing tooling and products as well as introduction of new tooling and products. Assists engineers with introduction of new components, products and fixturing at the design stage. Produces clear, accurate component, detail, and assembly drawings for production and development projects. Understand various manufacturing methods and tolerances to support engineering documentation needs. Identifies vendors and commercially available hardware and equipment to satisfy tooling and product design requirements. Ensures that all items are designed for manufacturability and compatible with current production techniques, safety requirements, and drafting standards. Performs tolerance studies to ensure accurate manufacture of product, machine and tool components. Maintain engineering documentation to current revision including print changes, routers and bills of materials. Complies with all safety rules and regulations. Complies with all company and department policies and procedures. Your profile Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).  5- 10 years experience with  mechanical design of precision parts  3-5 years related 3-D CAD experience.   3 years experience introducing or developing new products. Significant experience designing metal components for fabrication, assembly and test.  Experience with welding and general machining is desireable. Glass to metal seal and/or electronic packaging experience is a plus. Effective communication and presentation skills.  Self-motivated and results oriented. Must have working knowledge of CAD and computer file maintenance, as well as the ability to operate a CAD workstation.  3-D modelling in Inventor is a plus.   Must have applied knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as well as ANSI Y14.x engineering drawing standards. Willing to support department and corporate policies and goals.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
